About this space

Adventure awaits no matter the season at this beautiful log cabin. The cabin is walking distance from Appalachian Ski Mountain, less than 10 minutes from Main Street Blowing Rock/Tweetsie/Bass Lake/endless hikes on the Blue Ridge Parkway. 15 minutes from downtown Boone and App State. While there are many activities nearby, staying in at "Bearly Made It" will not give you cabin fever with Board Games, Foosball Table, Smart Tv's, Hot Tub, SoloStove Firepit and Well-equipped Kitchen.

The space

Spend your mornings relaxing in the spacious living room by the gas fire/out on the private deck soaking up the mountain air, while the kids play games in the downstairs entertainment room. Enjoy your afternoons grilling out, listening to Tweetsie Railroad in the distance, and taking in the long range views. After a busy day skiing or hiking, come back to your home away from home to roast s’mores around the firepit and end the night soaking in the private hot tub.

Guest access

Guests have access to the entire cabin and all the advertised amenities. We want to provide a memorable getaway for your group where you can enjoy all the exciting things the High Country has to offer yet come back to the cabin to relax and feel right at home.

Other things to note

• We provide a baby gate for the top of the stairs.

• Linens and towels are provided.

• There are TV's in every room except the Master bedroom. Each TV has Roku available using your own accounts.

• Dogs are welcome in this home. No other animals are allowed. There is $50 pet fee for pet. No more than 2 dogs and 60lb weight limit per dog.

• If you have a dog, please register them with your group when booking.

• The kitchen is fully stocked with all the essentials. We have a large drip coffee maker but please know guests are responsible to bring their own coffee.

• Guests are responsible to bring their own firewood for outdoor fire pit.

• Indoor fire is propane which is provided.

Winter Notes:

• We provide salt and a snow shovel for guests to use in the case of snow. If we acquire more than 3" of snow the driveway will be plowed.

• Guests MUST have a 4wd vehicle during the winter.
